whm backup is giving me a lot of trouble

Whm backup schedule gives me a lot of trouble and site slows down on my VPS.
Any alternative or solution?

In WHM go to Server Configuration | Configure cPanel Cron Jobs

There should be a section for Command: backup and in there is where you can change the time.

There is also a section for Command: cpbackup which is for the legacy cPanel backup system and you should avoid using this.

Hi, Thanks I do not use Legacy and I have set the backup time to run when the traffic is minimum early morning. Does whm have any where we can make adjustment so backup uses less resources?
