It's been a wild ride for 2024. As we near the end of the year, bringing on the challenges of 2025, we wanted to take a moment and thank each and everyone of our customers. Without you, we wouldn't be here today. Your continued support of KnownHost allows us to continue moving forward in advancing our offerings. It allows us continue to be a continued presence for anything that our customers wish to bring with us. Whether it is a blog, shop, personal website, commercial application, we're committed to ensuring that we continue providing the quality and support that we're known for.

We wanted to announce a few things that have taken place this year in our ever-continuing obligation to improving our services.

• Completed facility upgrades in Seattle, fully diversifying power delivery. No more August 2023 surprises.
• Upgraded Seattle and Atlanta networks
  • Seattle; we replaced Unitas with Zayo, GTT and Ziply for a robust in-house blended transit.
  • Atlanta; we blended Unitas with Zayo and Fiberlight for redundancy.
• Integrated BGP Routing efficiency for Seattle and Atlanta for improved routes
• Successfully launched live chat support, improving customer-support interactions.
• Introduced managers system; allowing customers and agencies to manager multiple accounts from a single account.
• Expanded product offerings in Seattle, high frequency NVMe VPS is now available!
• Initiated changes to our remote backup infrastructure to increase performance
• New hardware for ovz(vps)/Shared offerings in Netherlands is currently underway

With that being said, some may have noticed that KH Santa has returned with various offerings. KH Santa has been long absent for many years, recently firing up that workshop to bring beneficial upgrades across our various platforms.

• Dedicated IPv4 option

KH Santa returned again towards the end of November with updates to Reseller and Semi-Dedicated packages. With this change, updates were applied to legacy Reseller packages while introducing new Reseller packages with a different resource structure. Legacy Resellers received:

• Memory Resource Upgrades
• Bandwidth Upgrades
• Dedicated IPv4 option

Semi-Dedicated received:

• Bandwidth Upgrades

With the introduction of the new Reseller packages, we removed overall account limits. We learned that having an overall pool contributed to technical challenges and confusion within our support department and among customers who conducted their own investigations. This lead to issues being difficult to diagnose and resolve when it came to understand which individual websites were experiencing and/or causing issues.

Our new Reseller Packages now allocate 2 CPU cores and 2GB of memory to each cPanel account under a Reseller. This enhancement ensures that each cPanel account has dedicated resources, simplifying the process of diagnosing and troubleshooting website-specific issues. With this setup, it becomes easier to identify when a particular website, such as Website A, requires an upgrade to a higher shared package or a dedicated VPS environment. This change not only empowers our customers to better manage their resources but also enables our support team to efficiently identify and address potential performance bottlenecks.

KH Santa returns again for a final visit with refreshed offerings across our VPS, NVMe VPS and Cloud product lines. Within the bag of presents, KH Santa brings resource upgrades across the board for CPU, Memory, Disk, Bandwidth and Port Speed (for VPS/NVMe)
