OK I gotta question about changing my primary and secondary nameservers with my registrar, who happens to be Yahoo Domains. I've just gotten a VPS account. My email from KnownHost says:
You need to create the following name servers at your registrar:
ns1.mydomain.com using IP xx.xxx.5.xxx
ns2.mydomain.com using IP xx.xxx.6.xxx
So in Yahoo Domains under "Advanced DNS Settings" in "Change Nameservers" I'm not sure how to incorporate the IPs into these boxes.
I've seen three different suggestions here and in other forums. They are:
ns1.mydomain.com = IP xx.xxx.5.xxx
ns1.mydomain.com xx.xxx.5.xxx
ns1.mydomain.com A xx.xxx.5.xxx
I'm really confused by this and really don't know where to go from here. Thanks for any info.
