64-bit OS Options

Found out today that I have no option with a VPS to run on a 64-bit OS. Just wondering if it will be possible soon?

I can't put a hard timeline on this but I'm really hopefully early next year if all goes to plan.

We do deploy 64-bit on dedis so that may be an option for you.

Do you have an application which needs to use > 2GB RAM?

I do not specifically have one that requires it currently. But I run several sites that are database driven dynamic content (much like this forum). So I do not want to limit any customer or my own ability to grow. Database sites, especially MySQL based sites, benefit greatly from a 64-bit OS. It just deals with memory and resources on the server much better.
