How to set up domain redirection in cPanel?

Adding Domain Redirection

1. Log in to cPanel using Username & Password. i.e; (https://yourdomain.com:2083 or https://yourdomain.com/cpanel)

2. Navigate to Domains → Redirects.

3. Fill in the necessary information,

Type: Select type of Redirection Permanent or Temporary.

https?://(www.)? (Domain): Select the domain which you would like to redirect.

URL (/): Specify URL link (Example: /your-test-page-url)

Redirects to: Now enter destination URL/Domain.

www. Redirection: If you have CNAME configured or www subdomain configured and just wanted to redirect www. traffic, then you can select “Only redirect with www.”, if you want to redirect with or without www, then select “Redirect with or without www.”. Lastly, if you don’t want to redirect with www, select “Do Not Redirect www.”.

Wild Card Redirect: If you select this option, all the URLs situated with the selected domain will be redirected to the destination URL/Domain.

4. Finally, click on “Add“.

5. Congratulations! You have successfully configured domain redirection in cPanel.

Removing Domain Redirection

1. Log in to cPanel using Username & Password. i.e; (https://yourdomain.com:2083 or https://yourdomain.com/cpanel)

2. Navigate to Domains → Redirects.

3. Navigate to “Current Redirects“, where you can find all the list of configured redirections.

4. Navigate to a specific Redirection → Click on “Delete“.

5. On the confirmation screen again, click on “Remove Redirect“.
