How To Enable Account Creation Notifications in DirectAdmin?
Suppose you would like all admin accounts to be notified via your DirectAdmin server’s messaging system every time a new account is created by any account type (other admins, resellers, etc.). Login to server as root.
In the DirectAdmin’s configuration file, we need to enable the setting notify_admins_on_all_account_creation by changing its value to 1 using the following command,
/usr/local/directadmin/directadmin set notify_admins_on_all_account_creation 1 restart
The above command will make the changes in /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf file by adding 1 value in front of notify_admins_on_all_account_creation to enable the feature. You can verify the made changes using following command,
cat /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf | grep notify_admins_on_all_account_creation
You will now receive notifications via the messaging system in the following format,
Subject: User account knownhostda has just been created
Account resellerhosting has just created User knownhostda from IP 1.2.3.4 Domain: knownhostaccount.comConclusion
