The folks behind Configserver are apparently retiring and are removing their website and support for all of their paid products as of August 31, 2025. CSF (and LFD) have been the powerful firewall behind nearly every cPanel host I have ever worked with, and supports other panels as well. I hope Chirpy gets a lot of fond farewells. He has posted that there are thoughts of turning the free CSF over to a github project for further development and support. Let's hope so!

As far as KnownHost customers are concerned, we've been assured CSF will be released under a GPL license so we will continue to maintain CSF for our client base for the foreseeable future.
